College and Career Readiness

CA Colleges is a one-stop shop for college/career readiness.

All LHS students have a CA Colleges account, login by going to Californiacolleges.edu and signing in with Google using your LHS email.

Parents and Students should use this program to check their A-G eligibility status and explore various programs/majors available in our California Schools.

Launch College Applications through CA Colleges:

• Students can check their A-G Eligibility Status, Credit Status, and Launch UC/CSU/CCC Applications.
• Navigate to californiacolleges.edu and Sign in. Hover over College at the top and Click Launch Application.

Financial Aid: Students should launch their Financial Aid Applications in CA Colleges by Hovering over Financial and Click Launch Application.

Career Exploration: Students will complete many Career Exploration Modules in CA Colleges including their Interest Profiler, Personality tests, Financial Costs, etc. 

There are 15 college-prep courses, in various subject areas, that students must complete with a grade of a “C” or better in order to apply to a California State University (CSU) or University of California (UC) college. These are known as A-G requirements.
